PR & Nonprofits

Writing for a PR firm, or meeting the public relations needs of an individual client, requires not just the ability to understand someone else’s ideas — but also the ability to take on their voice. I have years of experience listening closely to others, and then expressing their thoughts clearly and persuasively, in a voice recognizably their own.

In this capacity, I’ve had the opportunity to write about hunger in America, genetic testing, corporate social responsibility, African American-Jewish relations, the detention of undocumented workers, the crisis in Darfur, the search for peace in the Middle East, and really, a whole lot more.

I’ve prepared op/eds, letters to the editor, backgrounders, fundraising materials, internal reports — any written materials that my clients might need. Op/eds I’ve penned have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Washington Post, The Hill, The Huffington Post, and many other outlets.

Understandably, this work also requires a certain amount of discretion. If you’re interested in hiring me as a contract writer for your PR needs, please contact me and I’ll be happy to give you more details.
